In the last day of Reality Boot Camp, I show you how to take all of the strategies we've learned and put it together into a daily plan. It's crucial for you to put these things into practice...to build the habit of facing reality and making moves in the direction of what you want.
Day 7 of Reality Boot Camp and I lay out the blueprint for how to habitually change your thought patterns. It's simple but requires desire and repetition. Tomorrow, I am going to show you how to put it all together in a game plan.
Today I break down a powerful method for keeping a clear eye, focused on reality. It's the habit of "re-balancing" your emotions. Throughout an average day, several emotions will show up and cloud your judgement, and lead you to make reckless decisions. You have to be able to balance that out, and keep making moves... much like a "chef" while whipping up a four course meal.
When you see things clearly, then notice what you don't like and proceed to sit still.....you will get depressed. You have to be able to create a fluid game plan and strategy that will get you to where you want to go. You've got to be like a war general; be able to see the end game, while being smart and patient enough to craft effective strategies, to overcome any obstacle to win. In this episode, I break down how to develop and master this skill.
We love to idolize the greats, the talented superstars and athletes, as we imagine that they got good from being a demi-god. The reality is that they developed skill from practice. And as they practiced, they felt pain. And because they learned from this pain, they improved... fast. The skill today is the ability to learn from pain, as opposed to repeating mistakes due of ignorance, impatience, and hardheaded-ness. Take a listen.
What you see on day to day is not always what you think it is.. it's just what you see, spiced up with your opinion. The skill I break down today is how to see things for what they are, before adding your spices (opinions) to it. When you can begin to do this, you become more able to control your responses and create better reactions to things that happen to you.
This skill is crucial... If you want to be good at dealing with reality, you have to start with being able to openly and honestly talk about, and identify, what you don't want. Without this skill (you get worse with time), you will stay in delusion and trick yourself into mediocrity.Dont give into what they tell you about focusing only on what you want, you've got to first deal with what's true. And whats true for you is that there's a lot of things you don't like. Well, let's talk about it...I break down how to better do that in this specific strategy.
Over the next 2 weeks, I am going to be taking you through a Reality Boot Camp...too many people cower under the weight of reality. And by "reality" I mean this: what is true for you, may be a little difficult to deal with or understand. We all have difficult areas of our life and they're not the way we want them to be; it's not fun. But it's those who can look at these results in the face, stare them down, break them down, and then create new plans to overcome... these are the winners. This is what I will be showing you how to do over the next 8 episodes. Back to back episodes. Tuesday through Friday. Enjoy.

In this episode, I show you the solution to all of these mistakes... yes, ALL of these mistakes. The Blueprint. For the first time ever, I am making the time management system that I created, available to the public. Early in my entrepreneurial career, I realized I needed a customized solution to fit the needs of a true BOSS. The reality was that these little fuzzy-bear-paw-print-journals didn't take into consideration the realities of managing a company, a family, nor provide necessary support for the vision I had. So I created my own. If you're an Entrepreneur or a Committed athlete, this is the missing tool that is going to take your results to the next level. How much time do you think goes into planing for a football game? A Basketball game? How much time do you spend getting ready and picking out your clothes? So why is it that most people spend no time planning out their week? Most don't have the standard, and they surely don't have a system, or method for doing it. In this episode, I address the standard and the strategy.
When people are stressed, we tend to eat more, sleep more and avoid things that are difficult. I suggest you try the opposite...in times of crisis or stress, try to avoid vices. I explain more in today's episode, so listen on the sports motivation podcast.
This song makes me emotional....Andre 3000's verse is crazy, and shows why he is a legend.
